Congressman Biggs Reintroduces Resolution to Recognize Pro Women's Healthcare Centers

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Andy Biggs reintroduced a resolution in the House of Representatives to recognize the importance of access to comprehensive, high-quality, life-affirming medical care for women of all ages through Pro Women's Healthcare Centers. Congressman Biggs issued the following statement:

"As the nation celebrates life this week, we recognize that all women deserve access to health care that emphasizes their comprehensive physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. As a husband, father of daughters, and a grandparent, I understand the necessity of a holistic approach to medicine and hope these resources are available to my family should they need them. Pro Women's Healthcare Centers commitment to excellence and life should be applauded. I encourage my colleagues to join me in recognizing their efforts."

BACKGROUND: Every Pro Women's Healthcare Center (PWHC) offers comprehensive health services, including well-woman exams, sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment, breast exams, pregnancy testing, prenatal and pregnancy care, miscarriage support, fertility awareness instruction, infertility consultation, and onsite or nearby, direct referrals for material, emotional, practical, and spiritual resources.
