The conservative House Freedom Caucus is officially running under new leadership. Representative Andy Biggs took over as chairman of the caucus on Tuesday.

Biggs is the third lawmaker to fill the position since it was first established in 2015, following in the footsteps of Representative Jim Jordan and Representative Mark Meadows. President Trump praised the committee’s decision to elect Biggs and congratulated the new chairman on Twitter.
