Angel Families Endorse the "Fund and Complete the Border Wall Act"

September 6, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the Angel Families endorsed the Fund and Complete the Border Wall Act, following last month's support of the bill from the National Border Patrol Council. The Angel Families released the following letter of support:

Angel Families (angelfamilies.com) are proud to endorse the Fund and Complete the Border Wall Act written by Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs.

The very issues Angel Families and Americans have been asking for are addressed in this straight forward, no nonsense, logical solution to increased border security in our country.

  • Creates a fund to build the wall;
  • Calls for construction of the wall by December 2019;
  • Penalizes foreign aid to Mexico and other countries by $2,000 for every illegal alien that is apprehended. The held back funds are redirected to the border wall fund;
  • Charges a fee for all money transfers when receivers are outside the United States. Collected fees go to the border wall fund;
  • Increases I-94 fees from $6 to $25. The higher fees fund Border Patrol salaries and the border wall fund;
  • Provides regulatory relief from burdensome actions that could be used to prevent wall construction;
  • Restores overtime pay for Border Patrol at same rate as all other DHS law enforcement agencies (restoring Fair Labor Standards Act).

We don't need border security issues to be tied to any budget bill or any other bill for that matter. The only purpose that serves is, the special interests of other groups hoping to cash in on an important STAND ALONE issue.

We are urging our Congressional Leaders and Senate Leaders to stand up for your fellow Americans who have become collateral damage in this fight to end Illegal Alien crime in our country and to firmly secure our southern border that has become a revolving door to deported Illegal criminals.
