Border Patrol Agent Art Del Cueto to Join Congressman Andy Biggs at the State of the Union

February 4, 2019

GILBERT, ARIZONA – Tomorrow night, President Trump will give his second State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress. Congressman Andy Biggs will attend with Border Patrol agent Art Del Cueto as his invited guest. Congressman Biggs and Agent Del Cueto released the following statements:

"Art Del Cueto is a great American patriot, and I am honored to attend the State of the Union with him. Since he joined the Border Patrol in 2003, Art has dedicated his life to enforcing our immigration laws and protecting Americans. I've had the privilege of touring our porous border with Art on several occasions over the past few years, and I am grateful for his knowledge and his leadership within Border Patrol. The Border Patrol plays a vital role in protecting national security, but Congress has allowed their staffing, pay, and resources to dwindle down to alarming numbers. Art and his fellow agents deserve the resources they need to secure the border. I am working with my colleagues to ensure that this happens. I look forward to hearing from President Trump tomorrow night." – Congressman Andy Biggs

"I am honored to have been invited to the State of the Union. It's even more of an honor to have been invited by Congressman Andy Biggs. He has always been a great friend, not just to me, but to all the Border Patrol agents. He is a true warrior in assisting us secure our borders and protecting the American public."– Border Patrol Agent Art Del Cueto
