Congressman Andy Biggs Congratulates Deputy Chief of Staff, Greg Safsten, on his years of his service and wishes him best in his future endeavors.

December 10, 2019

"It is with both sadness and gratitude that we announce Greg Safsten will be resigning as Deputy Chief of Staff for Arizona's Fifth Congressional District.

"Greg served our constituents admirably for years, starting out on Senator Jon Kyl's political team and then with my predecessor, Representative Matt Salmon. After my election in 2016, Greg was integral to opening my district office and has compiled one of the best teams around over his three-year tenure. Chances are you have run into him at one of our many community events, including Drop Zone and Salute to Veterans, a Seniors Resource Fair, our mobile office hours, or a Chamber of Commerce meeting. His hard work and dedication to the people of the fighting fifth will not be forgotten and his contributions will be missed immensely.

"Greg leaves the office in the hands of a highly qualified staff and we sincerely thank him for his leadership during his tenure. Our office wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

"Greg's last day will be Tuesday, December 31ST. We are confident that Greg and our staff will make this a smooth transition for our constituents, community leaders, and industry stakeholders."
