Congressman Biggs Congratulates Martha McSally on Her Senate Appointment

December 18, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Governor Doug Ducey appointed Martha McSally to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Senator John McCain and Senator Jon Kyl. Congressman Biggs released the following statement:

"Congratulations to Martha McSally on her appointment to the U.S. Senate. I look forward to working with her in the next Congress.

"I wish Representative McSally the best of luck in her tenure to fill the seat left by Senator John McCain. It was my honor to serve with Senator McCain for a year – especially to pass the Ashlynne Mike AMBER Alert in Indian Country Act. I commend Senator Kyl for stepping up to serve Arizona, once again. It was a privilege to serve alongside him in the delegation this year. I wish him and his family the very best in their new chapter of life. I'm excited to work with the entire Arizona delegation on behalf of our constituents, including both of our two new Senators."
