Congressman Biggs Demands Answers from Small Business Administration

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs sent a letter to the Small Business Administration (SBA) demanding answers on the troubling reports that it is not providing timely relief to struggling businesses that have been affected by COVID-19.

“The SBA has turned its back on small businesses and their need for assistance.” said Congressman Andy Biggs. “Relief programs were passed specifically to help businesses throughout the country. The degree of delay from the SBA under the current administration highlights the government’s incompetence to adequately respond and provide relief to individuals and businesses. If the SBA, which has no justification under the U.S. Constitution, is going to continue to exist, it should at least fulfill its mission by working more rapidly to respond to the needs of small businesses.”
