Congressman Biggs Demands FDA Rescind Discriminatory Guidance

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) demanding they rescind their guidance that makes race a factor in determining who should receive COVID-19 medical treatment. 

“This is discrimination plain and simple.  The Biden administration cannot use race and ethnicity as a factor in how COVID-19 treatments are distributed,” said Congressman Andy Biggs. “Distributing treatments based on a person’s medical need - not the color of one’s skin - shouldn’t be a controversial opinion. But we’re living in Biden’s world; where everything is focused on dividing us as a nation instead of uniting all Americans.”
