Congressman Biggs endorses Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Jim Jordan announced his bid for Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. Congressman Biggs endorsed Congressman Jordan and issued the following statement:
"Jim Jordan is a courageous conservative who has always kept his promises. As a founder of the House Freedom Caucus, Jim has fought hard to ensure his colleagues simply do what they said they would do during their campaigns.
"In 2016, the American people elected Donald Trump beause they knew he would shake up Washington, and Congress has yet to receive the message. If Republicans are to keep our majorities, we must keep our promises and help the President codify his reforms into law. I believe that Jim Jordan would return to regular order and lead the House to execute our conservative objectives. I thank Jim for his decision to step forward in this race, and I will do everything in my power to support his candidacy."
