Congressman Biggs: Exposing Election Crimes Shouldn't Lead to Jail Time

Yesterday, Congressman Andy Biggs issued the following statement in response to the release of True the Vote leaders Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips from jail: 

"It’s a dangerous time to call out Big Brother as evidenced by the unjust imprisonment of Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips," said Congressman Andy Biggs. These American patriots became political prisoners for promoting free and fair elections and exposing election crimes.

"This great nation cannot punish political dissidents. It’s un-American. I am grateful for Catherine and Gregg’s work and loyalty to this country. They deserve better."
