Congressman Biggs Hires New District Director

Also Promotes Lee Huff to Deputy District Director

GILBERT, ARIZONA – Today, Congressman Andy Biggs announced the hiring of David Romney to be his new District Director for Arizona's Fifth District.

David most recently served as the East Valley Outreach Coordinator for U.S. Senator Martha McSally. Prior to his time in the Senate, David managed the Election Services Division of the Arizona Secretary of State's office. While serving in management and client relations roles in the private sector, Mr. Romney graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and interned in the 5th District under former U.S. Representative Matt Salmon.

Congressman Biggs released the following statement:

"I am pleased to welcome David Romney to my team. Our district office has a record of tremendous service and outreach, and David's work ethic and can-do attitude will add much value to our team and this district. I know he looks forward to connecting with the constituents and business community in Arizona's Fighting Fifth."

David Romney added:

"It's an honor to return to the 5th District. This is my home, and I am thrilled to work alongside Congressman Biggs as we fight to keep Arizona at the forefront of freedom, growth, and innovation."

An avid outdoorsman and shooter, David is a proud fifth-generation Arizonan and lifelong East Valley resident. He resides in Mesa with his wife and two sons.

In addition to David Romney's hiring, Congressman Biggs announced the promotion of Lee Huff to Deputy District Director. Congressman Biggs issued the following statement:

"Lee Huff has faithfully served Arizona's Fifth District for many years, first for my predecessor, Matt Salmon, and the last three-plus years for me. He has proven to be a trustworthy and loyal member of my staff while serving our veterans community. I look forward to his continued service to our team."

Lee Huff added:

"Working for Congressman Biggs to serve our nation's heroes has been extremely fulfilling. I'm honored and excited that I will be able to continue serving veterans in this new capacity while working with community leaders in Arizona's Fighting Fifth Congressional District."

Congressman Andy Biggs is a second-term Representative from Arizona's Fifth Congressional District, representing parts of Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and Queen Creek. Congressman Biggs is a member of the House Judiciary and Science, Space, and Technology committees. He lives with his wife, Cindy, in Gilbert.
