Congressman Biggs Reintroduces Legislation Protecting American Sovereignty and Restoring Respect on the World Stage
Congressman Andy Biggs continues to work toward protecting American sovereignty and our interests abroad. He has reintroduced legislation that will once again put American interests first.
“The world has become less safe during the four years of the Biden-Harris regime. I look forward to working with President Trump as we restore the leadership of the United States, end our involvement in sovereignty-stripping entanglements, and promote peace through strength. I urge my colleagues to quickly pass these bills as we respond to the mandate our voters gave us in November,” said Congressman Biggs.
Congressman Biggs’s reintroduced legislation includes the following:
- H.Res.9 - Reaffirms that the United States is not a party to the Rome Statute and does not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
- H.R. 54, WHO Withdrawal Act – Requires the President to immediately withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO) and prohibits the use of federal funds to provide for U.S. participation in WHO.
- H.R. 93, Stop Imposing Woke Ideology Abroad Act – Prohibits using federal funds to implement the State Department’s Special Representative for Racial Equity and Justice and its Equity Action Plan.
- H.R. 94, A bill to terminate the designation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan as a major non-NATO ally.
Language from Congressman Biggs’s H.Res.9 has been incorporated in Congressman Chip Roy’s H.R. 23, the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act. The House is scheduled to vote on H.R. 23 this week.
