Congressman Biggs responds to the latest indictments from Robert Mueller
GILBERT, ARIZONA – Congressman Biggs released the following statement in response to the 13 indictments handed down by Robert Mueller:
"Yesterday's indictments again prove that then-candidate Trump did not collude with Russia in the 2016 election. We have been told repeatedly by high-ranking government officials that Mr. Trump did not collude with Russian agents, nor did Russian activity in the 2016 election effect its results. These indictments continue to vindicate President Trump of allegations meant to delegitimize his Presidency.
"Russia has tried to meddle in U.S. elections for decades in an effort to gain influence here and throughout the world. President Obama's foreign policy allowed Putin's influence to expand unchecked. Rather than accept the results of the Presidential election, Democrats attempted to slander our President in hopes to find an explanation of their loss. Throughout these investigations, we instead have discovered that it was the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign that colluded with Russia. This is the true scandal, and it bears a complete investigation. I will work with my colleagues to obtain the answers we have been seeking for the last year."
