Congressman Biggs Sends Letter to Attorney General Garland Demanding Answers

November 19, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Andy Biggs and 14 Republican colleagues sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding answers after a whistleblower revealed the FBI has been tracking concerned parents, contradicting AG Garland's recent testimony before the House Judiciary Committee.

“Concerned parents are not domestic terrorists,” said Congressman Andy Biggs. “This isn’t an opinion; it is a fact. The Department of Justice should be investigating actual threats, not parents who are exercising their constitutional rights. Attorney General Garland owes Congress and every targeted parent an explanation for his politically-driven actions. We will not tolerate the weaponization of the DOJ and the soviet-style surveillance of the American people.”

Co-signers: Congressman Scott Perry, Congressman Bob Good, Congressman Michael Cloud, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, Congressman Madison Cawthorn, Congressman Matt Rosendale, Congressman Dan Bishop, Congressman Ted Budd, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Congressman Louie Gohmert, Congressman Jeff Duncan, Congresswoman Mary Miller, Congressman Bill Posey, Congressman Ben Cline
