Congressman Biggs' Statement on House Intelligence Committee's Classified Memo

January 18, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence allowed House lawmakers to view a classified memo. Congressman Biggs viewed the document this evening and released the following statement:

"I am outraged by what I read, and the American people deserve to know what Congress now knows.

"I will be joining several of my colleagues to urge House leadership to declassify this material. Nothing within this memo would impair national security. My constituents deserve full transparency on this issue."
