Congressman Biggs' Statement on Latest DACA Court Ruling
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last night, Maryland judge Roger W. Titus ruled that the Trump administration acted within their constitutional authority when repealing Obama's DACA executive order. While this is welcome news, unfortunately the DACA program will continue in perpetuity because competing rulings have mandated the program remain in place until all legal challenges are resolved. Congressman Biggs released the following statement:
"Judge Titus is correct in restating what I have said all along: President Trump was wholly within his right to repeal the DACA program. I hope other judges around the country take notice of Judge Titus's opinion and refrain from inserting their political biases into their judicial considerations."
