Congressman Biggs’ Statement on the New State of the Union Date

January 29, 2019

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last night, President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi agreed to hold the State of the Union address on February 5th. Congressman Biggs released the following statement:

"I am pleased that the State of the Union will be held next week. The State of the Union is an exceptional opportunity for Americans to see the three branches of government gather in one chamber for one night. No matter the politics or the policies of the President or the Speaker of the House, it is important to execute this constitutional obligation each year. I look forward to attending the address and hearing what President Trump has to say to Congress and to the nation."
