Congressman Biggs' Statement on Senate Judiciary's Hearing
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee heard testimony from Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. Congressman Biggs issued the following statement:
"Judge Kavanaugh presented an emotional and passionate defense of his integrity to the nation today. I applaud him for his perseverance throughout this disgraceful process. No person should endure the character assassination that has befallen Judge Kavanaugh. My heart goes out to him, his family, and his friends.
"Now that both sides have had a chance to share their testimony in public, I hope the Senate moves expeditiously to confirm Judge Kavanaugh. He has the integrity and qualifications to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, and I have perfect confidence in him moving forward."
