Congressman Biggs' Statement on the Singapore Summit

GILBERT, ARIZONA – Last night, President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Chairman Kim Jong Un met in Singapore to discuss efforts to denuclearize the Korean peninsula. Congressman Biggs released the following statement:

"I congratulate President Trump for leading this summit in accordance with the principles of the United States. He and his team diligently worked for this historic moment and were skillful ambassadors for our nation. I am extremely hopeful that this meeting was the first step of a negotiated process that will bring denuclearization and stability to the Korean Peninsula and northeast Asia. I believe that stability in the North Korean regime will provide stability for the peninsula and region, and will produce a better chance for peace."
