Congressman Biggs Supports President Trump’s Call for Tax Reform

August 31, 2017

Gilbert, Arizona – Yesterday, President Trump traveled to Missouri to deliver his outline for a historic tax reform proposal. Congressman Biggs released the following statement:

"Since taking office, President Trump has revitalized the American economy and job creation. His attention to reducing regulatory burdens for businesses and fostering American product creation is a terrific start. Tax reform will tremendously help his efforts.

"President Trump is championing pro-growth tax reform that I hope Congress will quickly put into motion. Our tax code is too large, too complex, and too restrictive for middle class families and job creators alike.

"President Trump correctly realizes that more government is not the solution to our failed tax system and economic potential. He is right to redesign the tax structure to allow Americans to keep more of their hard-earned money and to encourage investment to stay in this country. I will continue to fight with this administration to fix our broken tax system and I look forward to seeing a robust debate on specific legislation this fall."
