House Democrats Manipulate Release of Schiff's Soviet-Style Deposition Transcripts

November 5, 2019

GILBERT, ARIZONA – This week, Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee have rolled out transcripts of the recent, Soviet-style depositions of Ambassador McKinley, Ambassador Yovanovitch, Ambassador Sondland, and former Special Envoy Volker. The release of these transcripts came even though Chairman Schiff continues to hold back additional transcripts and schedules more secret depositions in his chamber. Congressman Biggs issued the following statement:

"We've seen a lot of misdirection and deception from the left and their allies in the media, but today's coordinated effort may be their best. Democrats, knowing that they were about to release the Sondland and Volker transcripts, leaked a manipulated narrative to the New York Times and sent out selected excerpts from the transcripts in an effort to control the narrative. The transcripts themselves are hundreds of pages, ensuring that tonight's news will likely run with their narrative and message before most people have a chance to fully read.

"All four released transcripts show, however, that President Trump did nothing wrong or impeachable. The transcripts show Democrats desperate attempt to frame a narrative that they can use to harass, impeach, and remove President Trump from office. Transcripts also prove that Democrats will do anything to hide the corruption allegations surrounding Joe and Hunter Biden and project their wrongdoings onto this administration.

"Here are the facts. President Trump showed an unprecedented amount of transparency by releasing the transcript of the call with Ukraine's President on July 25 and the "whistleblower's" complaint based on hearsay. Ukraine's Foreign Minister stated that there was no pressure. Ukraine's President stated that there was no pressure or blackmail. Yet Democrats and some of their allies in the media ignore these facts because their sole aim is to overturn the results of the 2016 election. The Democrats have no shame for not encouraging a truly open and fair investigation."
