Judiciary Democrats Continue to Pursue Impeachment

July 11, 2019
Press Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Judiciary Democrats voted to authorize subpoenas to compel testimony and document production from twelve individuals connected to President Trump’s administration or campaign. Congressman Biggs voted against the latest fishing expedition from extremist Democrats and issued the following statement:

“Chairman Nadler and his Democrat colleagues are still trying to have it both ways: they are too fearful to impeach the President, but too blinded by their hate of the President to concentrate on anything else. This latest foray proves Judiciary Democrats are only concerned with relitigating the Mueller investigation until they can concoct a result that gives them cover to move forward with impeachment. They couldn’t criminally prosecute the president, so they are politically prosecuting him. This circus is an embarrassing waste of money, and Democrats should be ashamed of themselves.”

Congressman Andy Biggs is a second-term Representative from Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District, representing parts of Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and Queen Creek. Congressman Biggs is a member of the House Judiciary and Science, Space, and Technology committees. He lives with his wife, Cindy, in Gilbert.
