Were you impressed by President Biden’s recent visit to El Paso, Texas? Neither was I. Between cleaning up the congregated homeless illegal aliens and the limited time he spent in the area, we can assume that Biden came on the scene with scant information and probably left more confused than ever.
Tonight, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) issued the following statement in response to the House Speaker's race for the 118th Congress:
“Earlier this morning, Kevin McCarthy was elected as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives for the 118th Congress.
“It is important that he be successful and I wish him success in fighting the Democrats and advancing the Republican agenda. He has shown a new willingness to empower the people of the country and I will be watching closely to see if he stays true to his word.
Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) responded to the January 6 Committee's ethics referral:
“An eleventh-hour referral to the House Ethics Committee proves the sham J6 Committee never truly needed our testimony.
“They only wanted the testimony to have the ability to edit and misconstrue our statements to further their own false narratives, as they did with so many other witnesses.
Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) introduced the Federal Land Freedom Act. This legislation would empower states to control the development and production of all forms of energy on all available federal land within their state boundaries. It would also cut red tape that hinders a state’s ability to develop energy resources on federal land.
“Why aren’t you voting for Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to be the next speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives?”

This afternoon, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) will hold a press conference regarding the impeachment of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in the 118th Congress. Congressman Biggs was the first member of Congress to introduce articles of impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas, introducing them in August 2021 after concluding that Secretary Mayorkas’ dereliction of duty in protecting our nation’s borders constituted high crimes and misdemeanors.
