Press Releases

Recently, I led a trip with several of my colleagues down to the US/Mexico border. We made stops in San Diego and Calexico, California, and also in Yuma, Arizona. We got to see our border patrol agents in action and learned new information regarding various groups coming from Eastern Europe and South America to enter our country. We can't thank our border patrol agents enough for all their hard work. Check out the photos below:

Madame Speaker,
There is no greater love than to lay one's life down for another.
Officer Christopher Farrar of Chandler, Arizona exemplified that love when he was killed in the line of duty on April 30th of this year. Officer Farrar gave his life on behalf of his community and indeed, the entire State of Arizona. By all accounts he was a great police officer who served his community every day.

On Friday, Congressman Andy Biggs introduced the Veterans Health Care Freedom Act to ensure that America's veterans have greater access to the health care they need and deserve. This bill removes barriers to free – market health care by allowing veterans to access primary, specialty, and mental care at non-VA facilities and outside of their corresponding Veterans Integrated Service Networks.

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs announced the formation and inaugural meeting of the East Valley Second Amendment Coalition dedicated to preserving and promoting the right of Arizonans to keep and bear arms. This newly founded group comprised of leaders in the pro-Second Amendment community will regularly meet to discuss local, state, and federal actions that affect Arizonans' Constitutional rights.
Today, Congressman Andy Biggs sent a letter to the Biden Administration to immediately suspend Special Envoy John Kerry's security clearance and prevent him from participating in any classified briefings until the full nature of his interactions with Iran are investigated. You can see the letter below:

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security and U.S Immigrations and Customs Enforcement demanding answers about illegal aliens being housed in local hotels.

Yesterday, Congressman Andy Biggs sent a letter to Committee on Oversight and Reform Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney urging her to open an investigation into recent Project Veritas videos showing a CNN employee boasting about the network's pro-Biden coverage in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election.

Dear Chairwoman Maloney:
Congressman Andy Biggs released the following statement on yesterday's House Judiciary committee's markup:
Today, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform met to debate H.R. 51, a Democratic effort to transform the overwhelming majority of the District of Columbia's current territory into a 51st state, to be named "Washington, Douglass Commonwealth." At the same time, this bill would carve out a tiny sliver of current D.C. territory, containing merely the White House, Capitol, and a few other government buildings, to serve as the new federal capital district.
