Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (AZ-05) and Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36), the Co-Chairs of the Congressional Border Security Caucus, along with 29 of their colleagues sent a letter to Senator Chuck Schumer and Senator Mitch McConnell urging the Senate to reject President Biden's nominees to lead U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Andy Biggs introduced a resolution recognizing the national debt as a threat to national security. His resolution recognizes that deficits are unsustainable, irresponsible, and dangerous and calls on the House of Representatives to restoring regular order in the appropriations process and to commit to addressing the fiscal crisis faced by the United States.

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs sent a letter to DHS Secretary Mayorkas for violating federal law by releasing inadmissible aliens into the interior of the United States. Congressman Biggs is demanding Secretary Mayorkas immediately begin implementing the law and answer questions from Members of Congress.

Recently, I led a trip with several of my colleagues down to the US/Mexico border. We made stops in San Diego and Calexico, California, and also in Yuma, Arizona. We got to see our border patrol agents in action and learned new information regarding various groups coming from Eastern Europe and South America to enter our country. There is no greater love than to lay one's life down for another.

Officer Christopher Farrar of Chandler, Arizona exemplified that love when he was killed in the line of duty on April 30^th of this year. Officer Farrar gave his life on behalf of his community and indeed, the entire State of Arizona. By all accounts he was a great police officer who served his community every day.
