WASHINGTON, D.C. – As tax reform discussions intensify around the nation, Congressman Biggs issued the following statement:

"There is much to like about the plan released yesterday. I believe that millions of Americans and their businesses stand to benefit greatly from its passage.

"However, as debate continues, there are three provisions that I would like to see modified in the current draft text:

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, President Trump signed an executive order to resume the U.S. refugee admissions program after installing additional vetting mechanisms to protect Americans from potential terrorists. This order was executed at the end of President Trump's temporary pause on refugees from selected countries, which encountered several politically-motivated court challenges. Washington, D.C. - Yesterday, President Trump announced two actions to stabilize the failing health care sector and help return additional free market control to patients and their doctors. The actions included an order to allow insurance companies to sell coverage plans across state lines and an order to eliminate the unlawful appropriation of cost-saving reductions to the Obamacare insurance industry.
