Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) released bill text for more than 500 bills that reduce nondefense discretionary spending to pre-COVID levels. Together, these bills save the nation roughly $100 billion in fiscal year 2024 and $1 trillion over a decade.

Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) issued the following statement in response to a Manhattan grand jury, led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, indicting President Donald J. Trump:

“Never in my life have I seen America’s institutions as weaponized against conservatives as they are today,” said Congressman Andy Biggs. “A Leftist District Attorney funded and selected by George Soros has elevated a misdemeanor stemming from a minuscule accounting error into a felony due to his opposition to the former president’s politics.

Tomorrow, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) will propose more solutions to avoid raising the debt ceiling in the future. Congressman Biggs and a cohort of his colleagues will reiterate their offer to President Biden to make spending cuts in exchange for consideration of raising the debt ceiling. They will additionally identify hundreds of spending programs that can be reduced or eliminated that would save the nation hundreds of billions of dollars.
