Today, Chairman of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Chairman of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government Chip Roy (R-TX) sent a letter to Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Chief Pamela Smith in response to a report that the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) has advised the Washington D.C. Medical Examiner to dispose of the remains of five preborn children whose bodies were reportedly recovered from the Washington Surgi-Clinic.

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) introduced the Fiscally Responsible Israel Supplemental Act, 2024—legislation that would provide $17.6 billion in military and security assistance to Israel and pay for that spending by repealing the Fiscal Responsibility Act (FRA)’s Department of Commerce and IRS “slush fund” created during debt ceiling negotiations last summer. This assistance includes funding to reinforce Israel’s defense systems, replenish U.S. military operations in the region, and protect U.S.

The Taxpayer Advocate Service and I are leading a tax pre-filing season awareness event in Queen Creek tomorrow. The event will feature information booths and representatives from the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS), Low-Income Taxpayer Clinics (LITC), Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), and the Stakeholder Partnerships Education Communication (SPEC). Representatives from my office will also be on hand for casework assistance. Stop by to receive on-site tax assistance.

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) sent a letter to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray in response to a report on the FBI’s DNA testing of illegal aliens encountered at the southern border. There is currently an alleged 15-month analysis backlog, inadequate funds to process the DNA tests, and not enough testing kits at CBP alien processing locations. These problems allow criminal illegal aliens to move freely throughout the country before law enforcement can act on evidence gathered from the testing.
