Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) sent a letter to President Joe Biden denouncing his Administration’s decision to abstain from the United Nations Security Council’s (UNSC) vote to declare an immediate ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war. The abstention followed a U.S.-sponsored ceasefire resolution that was vetoed by the UNSC last week.

Immediately following the adoption of the ceasefire resolution, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled an Israeli delegation’s visit to Washington, D.C. The delegation was scheduled to arrive this week.

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) sent a letter to Congressman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), Chairman of the Committee on House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight, encouraging him to conduct further oversight over the January 6th Committee’s decision to recommend contempt of Congress charges against former officials in President Trump’s Administration. 

Peter Navarro, former Director of the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, has been ordered to report to prison next week for his refusal to comply with the sham committee’s demands.

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), Congressman Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), Congresswoman Val Hoyle (D-OR), Congressman Warren Davidson (R-OH), and a bipartisan group of 28 colleagues are sending a letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), urging them to oppose any attempt to attach reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to “must-pass” legislation and to allow floor votes on crucial reforms to protect the privacy rights of Americans.
