WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a win for Arizona, the U.S. Department of the Interior released a proposed grazing rule to “give ranchers more flexibility, improve the health of rangelands and support rural communities across the West.” The announcement comes as the number of U.S. cattle operations has dropped by more than 150,000 (17%), and the national herd has fallen to its lowest level in over 70 years. These decreased numbers resulted from government overreach and outdated rules that hampered ranchers’ ability to meet growing national beef demand.

Arizona’s status is unique among the fifty states; while most others saw a decrease in drug overdose deaths in 2025, Arizona saw an increase in deaths overall and a spike in fentanyl-related deaths.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Andy Biggs (AZ-05) introduced the Providing Resources and Oversight for Tactical Equipment to Communities and Troops (PROTECT) Act. The bill modernizes the administration of the Department of War’s Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO) or “1033 program,” which allows state and local law enforcement agencies to acquire surplus equipment. This update will help the program operate more efficiently and better serve communities nationwide.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Andy Biggs (AZ-05) introduced the Restoring the American Homebuyers Dream Act to open more opportunities for citizens and legal residents to own homes without competition from people in the country illegally. The bill would allow the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to share Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) information with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for immigration enforcement purposes.
