Today, Congressman Andy Biggs reintroduced the Fourth Amendment Restoration Act. The bill fully repeals the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), prohibits warrantless surveillance of American citizens, and holds accountable any federal official who violates the law.

Next week, Congressman Andy Biggs will hold an off-site hearing to discuss Bidenflation and Biden’s energy crisis at the Heritage Foundation. The hearing will feature nearly 20 prominent House Republican lawmakers. Four expert witnesses will provide testimony. Today, Congressman Andy Biggs sent a letter along with 25 Republican members from the House of Representatives to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas regarding the Department's move to discipline Border Patrol agents after the fabricated ‘whipping’ controversy. 

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs, along with Congresswoman Mary E. Miller and other House Republican colleagues, introduced a resolution condemning Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer for his rhetoric that may have contributed to the recent assassination attempt of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. His inflammatory statements could also endanger the lives of other Justices and government officials.  

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs voted against H.R. 7910, a compilation of multiple Democrat gun control bills. Each component—from raising the age for purchasing semi-automatic rifles and shotguns, to restricting magazine size, to micromanaging gun storage—would do little, if anything, to protect against future instances of violence, but would infringe Americans’ Second Amendment rights and add bureaucratic hurdles for law-abiding citizens to exercise those rights.  

Today, Congressman Andy Biggs sent a letter along with Congressmen Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) and David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary Denis McDonough seeking information regarding staff shortages at VA facilities in Arizona. 

“Our nation has promised care for our veterans and the VA is failing to deliver that promise,” said Congressman Andy Biggs.

“Throughout the greater Phoenix area, there are dozens of vacancies for mental health providers and primary care providers. It’s unacceptable.

Yesterday, Congressman Andy Biggs issued the following statement in response to his votes against H.R. 7790--Infant Formula Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022 and H.R. 7791--Access to Baby Formula Act of 2022. 

"It is imperative to find solutions to address Biden’s baby formula crisis," said Congressman Andy Biggs. "But what my congressional colleagues have proposed tonight does not address the core issues of this crisis.
