PHOENIX — Based on what he saw on a recent trip to the Arizona-Mexico border, U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs said "morale is really low" among border patrol agents.
The Arizona Republican told KTAR News 92.3 FM's Arizona's Morning News on Thursday that U.S. Customs and Border Protection had plenty of technology, such as drones, to patrol the border, but there were two big problems.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the House passed H.R. 6157, the Department of Defense Appropiations Act. Congressman Biggs voted in favor of the legislation and issued the following statement:
"I was pleased to vote in favor of the 2019 Department of Defense Appropriations Act. This legislation supports our ongoing missions to defeat ISIS, enhances our missile defense capabilities, gives our troops another pay raise, and continues to assist with military readiness.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the House of Representatives failed to pass H.R. 6136, the Border Security and Immigration Reform Act. This bill was the second immigration package voted on in the House this month. Congressman Biggs voted against the bill and issued the following statement:
"Like last week's amnesty legislation, H.R. 6136 fails to deliver on the promises we made to our constituents to first fund, build, and complete a border wall before reforming any other pieces of our broken immigration system.
PHOENIX – U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Arizona) has filed a motion to censure Rep. Maxine Waters over her suggestion that members of the Trump administration should be confronted in public.
Biggs was responding to comments the California Democrat made during a rally against President Donald Trump's immigration policy in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Waters cited a recent incident in which White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders was refused service in a Virginia restaurant.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Biggs issued the following statement after introducing a resolution to censure and condemn Representative Maxine Waters:
"Individuals have the right to debate their differences civilly, without fear of retribution. Unfortunately, Maxine Waters' comments condone public violence and encourage actions that jeopardize the safety and security of government officials and the American people.
