The data shows that government revenues have increased for FY 2019 (in large part due to tax collections), but that government spending has increased almost 10% during the same period. Interest on the national debt has cost the United States over $354 billion during FY 2019, and is estimated to run over $593 billion by the end of the fiscal year. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced official May numbers for illegal alien apprehensions at America's southern border. According to CBP, 144,278 aliens were "apprehended or deemed inadmissible at the southern border" and "more than 675,000 migrants have been apprehended or deemed inadmissible so far this fiscal year" – approximately the size of one congressional district.
